Melaka One Day Trip

Ok, today is the first Saturday in my work life. Waited for this weekend for so long.
Anyway, just in a wink it's going to over soon. At the moment I'm writing this blog post, it's already almost reaching Sunday~ *sob sob*
It's so true when they say:
“Weekends are a bit like rainbows; they look good from a distance but disappear when you get up close to them.” (I'm totally agree)
Well, today I went Melaka for one day trip.
Main objective is to show my brother where is the Jabatan Kesihatan in Melaka.
(Hopefully he will be able to report smoothly and safely on coming Monday)
Then, we just walked around and get some food to eat~

Our lunch. yupe! McDonald's~ hehe
(Objectives: 1st. we need something that will be served fast 2nd. I wanna finish up my McD vouchers.) So we were there. My expression was kind of weird in the photo. LOL
perhaps I'm worrying whether we will be able to finish up the french fries. haha

Headed to Melaka once we finished our lunch. Reach there in about 1 and half hour.
Tak de sesat. Maklumlah, a 5yrs-Melakan was on the car. (no doubt, it's me..haha...bangganya)
Well, we spotted the Jabatan building. Then we straight head to Jalan Bunga Raya to fill up our drumming stomach. (too bad the expectation towards the Pohpia too high, end up mom and dad quite disappointed. too oilly la~ but nvm la, next time I intro other stuffs~)

At least no complaint for this one. The Melaka best Lohan! haha
maybe slightly sweet for them also la~

well, have to show this also, though quite dissappointing...haha
Actually, the "oilly-ness" is OK for me. those who often eat with me know I like 猪油渣 one
just that today really a bit 失水准. the 猪油渣 too hard.....a bit like stone.
Aih...maybe he got no more supporters like me in Melaka so no mood to do dy....sad

on the way back, we manage to "dabao" a pack of this so called 1961 Mee Rebus. haha
Actually I remembered Ah foo brought me here once. Quite nice actually.
Their stall slogan is "Your satisfaction is our business". Seems like heard this somewhere~haha

Headed back to KL once we finish our business.
Decided to have our dinner back at KL. So, after we reached and took a short rest, we went to the nearest restaurant. Just behind Jusco Seri Kembangan.

Something creative. The inside is 水饺, outside is the chicken skin.
But too bad not perfect enough. If they ask for my opinion, I would say:
- try make a special sauce for it. kind of dry~
- put more chewy ingredient inside the 水饺~ so that it would not feel like eating a piece of flour

Overall, today I'm very FULL!~

Alamanda Putrajaya Bamboo Walkway

今天到"阿拉曼达" Alamanda 走了一趟~ 当作是与家人休闲的逛街吧~顺便处理一些自己的事情。
基本上正经事很快就处理好了~之后我们就在那里用餐~
我们也在阿拉曼达外面美丽的竹林拍了一些照片留念~平时看见这竹林主题的走廊都纯粹欣赏，没有想过刻意的拍摄留念。今天，难得我们经过就拍了几张~
而且因为今天很早就抵达那里，没有什么人潮，拍摄就少了很多杂物。而且新鲜的空气，绿色的竹叶，感觉实在太轻松了！好有王力宏竹林深处及十面埋伏（我指的是张艺谋的，不是翁伯伯的）的感觉！！

今天也得到一个我觉得惊吓的消息~

TOP 10 Secret Recipes for Job Hunt

Well, this post is all about my personal experience sharing on preparation for job hunt or before interview. It might not be applicable to all fields, but generally it is summarized from all the tests and interviews I had gone through in these few weeks (almost 2 months). I would say these are something you cannot get from Jobstreet tutorial or any career fair booklet. Most of the online tips for what to do before interview are quite the same. I admit that it is important for you to read through all these interview tips to know what they usually ask in the interview. However, there are also things that they did not share. It is probably due to different culture or way of practice.

1 – Never memorize the company profile, history and bla bla bla. It’s normal that you will always come across with the tips asking you to do some research on the company background. Well, I would say the most important is that you know what the company does. (I assume everyone would have known this at the moment they decided to apply for that company. So, that’s enough basically!) Spend more time in preparing answers that can help to market you instead. As from the 5 interviews I attended, none ask about the company profile, history, structure, product line or what so ever. If there is a chance they really ask about it, you can answer smartly that you will get to know more after you successfully enter the company.

2 – Prepare 100% or more for the most popular question – “Please briefly intro yourself”. This is a confirm question for all interview. Maybe they will ask in a different manner, but there will definitely be introduction section. Grab this opportunity as this is what you can actually prepare earlier. Draft a brief but impressive introduction for yourself and you will find it useful for all interviews you attend. Since this is a start, it is very important for you to create good impression in term of communication and personality. (With the assumption that you have successful make a good score in outlook) Try to say something different or something that the panel(s) wanted to know more. Keep those routine introduction (eg: name, degree, age, etc) short and simple. Keep more time for those parts that portray you uniquely. Remember “first impression counts”. So if you did well for this question, even you answer plainly for the subsequent questions, there is still a chance. But if you screw this part and manage to bluff like super canon at the back, I would say you didn’t make a good start.

3 – Please keep the habit of bringing along a pen with you. Most of the time, you will be required to filled in another form once you arrive at the company. For me, I would feel that it is very unprofessional to borrow a pen from the receptionist or even your competitors (other interviewees). Even when you have entered the interview room, there is still a possibility of using a pen. I had come across with one interview whereby before they started questioning, I was required to answer 2 simple questions pre-printed on a paper. Imagine how embarrass if you have to borrow a pen from the interviewer. It really happens.

4 – Try to arrange your document holder systematically before you attend any interview. From there they can see whether you are an organized person. The most recommended arrangement would be according to chronological. First would be the resume for sure. Then it should be followed by academic achievements before you show all you silat or kungfu certificates. Like I had mentioned, do it in chronological arrangement, those PMR or UPSR please kindly put at the back. (eg: university academic achievements, university coco, secondary academic achievements , secondary coco, and so on) Keep those certificates that would not impress them much. Example? Kindergarten graduation certificate. Don’t laugh, sometimes it had been in your holder for times, then you forgot to remove it.

5 – Things that you supposed to bring along in your beg: relevant documents, bottle of water, snack (bread or biscuits), reading material. I don’t have to mention more about the documents part. Usually the company will give a very clear instruction on what to bring in term of documents. But other than that, water is necessary. Usually our mouth and lips get dry pretty fast especially when we are nervous. Snack is for those unpredictable interview schedules. (most of the time, interviews that are attended by many candidates) One of my friend shared that he encountered a situation whereby his interview was pre-scheduled at 2pm but end up that he entered the interview room only at 6pm and the session ended at 730pm. You could be a walking zombie by the time you enter the room if nothing fill you empty stomach. Of course, before you eat, it always more appropriate for you to ask first. (Whoever in charge of the waiting room) Reading material is to kill time. At the same time, it portrays you as a person who makes full use of your time. Doesn’t matter because they will not see all these? There are actually a lot of chances that the interviewer will observe you. (When they go for toilet, they might see what’s happening in the waiting room. Or when they call you themselves from the waiting room, they will see what you are doing while waiting) It’s all impression marks.

6 – Don’t be a recluse when you are in the waiting room. Try to talk with other candidates. But you have to evaluate their personality yourselves. I had encountered some candidates who are very selfish and not willing to share much. But when you come across with friendly candidates, sometimes you might get something from him/her. Be humble. Sometimes, they know more about the company. (Probably they have relatives or seniors working inside) So, it would be good for you to know more about these information, either to help you answer better (eg: when being asked about your expectation salary, you might get to know the current rate through info given by other candidates) or to help you make better decision. (In the situation that you have multiple offers)

7 – Always be honest! Don’t afraid to admit something that you don’t know. I would say that the damage cause by saying “I don’t know but I’m willing to learn. Please forgive me.” is only around 40-60%. But if you insist of answering those questions that you do not know, then the damage could be 100%. Nobody likes “keh kiang” people. Same thing if you had forgotten something. Just say that you forgot. When you are not sure but still answer with a lot of “erm” and guessing, then your confidence mark will definitely drop to nil.

8 – Prepare some stunning questions in the end of interview. The interviewers will usually open the opportunity to the candidates to clear their doubts. Prepare some analytical question instead of general questions. Common questions would be “when I can know the result?”, “how long is the probation period?”, etc. General questions would be “how many staffs are there in this company?”, “does the company plan to expand its empire to other country?”, etc. All these wouldn’t impress me much if I’m interviewer. Do some studies on the company and come out with some analytical questions. Ask something relating to your field. For accounting, perhaps you need to study on their financial performance and ask question relating to that. For engineer or other fields, you should know better if you are in that field.

9 – Don’t agree too soon if they offer you a job. Always request for a day to think properly as this is an important decision to make. A day could make a difference if you had attended a few interviews before this one. You might get call from them anytime. Who knows you might get better offer! However, if they insist you to give the answer on the spot, then you have to choose. No choice.

10 – If possible create a whole new email account purposely for your job hunt quest. This makes you easier to check any updates on job applications. Select a mature email address so that the interviewer feels that they are hiring a man/woman rather than a boy/girl. Please abandon those silly email addresses like vanilla_sweet_cute_always_me@yahoo.com, or fcukmecrazy@hotmail.com, or others that you think are inappropriate. Construction of image starts here.

Ho Jiak Sunday

Yesterday was Sunday, also my family makan makan day! haha
We ate a lot of "yummy yummy" yesterday. In the afternoon, my eldest brother feel like eating the Serdang Old Town "white chicken" (or they usually called it Hai Nan Chicken)
This one is my brother's favorite since his university times~ Well, we kind of like it too because the sauce is so special~ blend of ginger and chili padi~ just nice to eat with the chicken.

In the evening, we finally decided to go for the restaurant recommended by my friend, Audrey.
Well, indeed a special restaurant because it is situated in a Temple. (or opposite to be precised) But it's still inside the temple compound. Jot down a few "must-order" recommended by Audrey. So, we ordered all to try. (except the mutton pot that we didn't order. my mom not really like it)

After the dinner we went to my aunt house, then only we realized it is actually former 天上天 at Cheras Perdana. The boss shifted here and took over this 天下. No wonder some of the staffs looked so familiar. But indeed some new dishes and menus there~ good to try!

KTAR Convocation 2009

这两天(星期六及星期日) 我到 Wangsa Maju 那区去见 sayang。主要是出席她妹妹的毕业典礼！
星期六我们在KLCC看了哈利波特后就送他们回去（她妹妹的Condo, Melati Utama）
差点迷路，可是最后还是安全的抵达~隔天我就一大早出发朝向Wangsa Maju。这是我第一次从家里出发到那里~大约是40-50分钟的车程~（也是担心迟到，所以提早出发）
还好，一路都很顺~ really have to thank Google Map~ very accurate~

到Melati Utama去载了sayang后就出发到拉曼学院院校~真的是毕业的气氛~
泊车位超难找~而且人潮很多，除了看车，看车位，还要看人~
好不容易，兜了一圈才找到了位子~下车后就赶紧买花~院校前面很多人卖花~
看见一束超漂亮的百合加向日葵~比我们大学比便宜多了！！原来MMU的学生给人的印象就是比较好“宰”~ 很想买便便一束留给自己到八月~可惜还有太久~算了。

这就是蔓双的妹妹~恭喜毕业哦！

这其实是那家餐馆的主题~餐馆的名称是 Happy Seasons! *就在wangsa maju的carrefour附近
为什么叫春夏秋冬？因为餐馆内以这4季为z主题，原本兴致勃勃想见识他们的《冬》，可惜那section fully booked了~所以我们最后只好在秋用餐~听说冬那里的温度只有5度，必须带冷衣~特别吧!

Packful Week

A tiring week but full with happiness.
Tiring because I got no time to take a break. The week was packed with interviews and appointments. Happy because I get to meet a lot of friends~ (some university friends, some old school friends and some new friends) Let's see who I have met :

Yupe, met with my previous SRC boss - Mr. Hamdan!
It was Telekom Malaysia interview~ met with others x-classmates too!
Damn, first time met with so many friends during an interview~

Don't believe? check this out~ all in this photo are my accounting classmates!
There are more actually just that some did not come on the same day~
Will we become the future colleagues? Not sure yet~

Then I met with David (or Issac, the most current name. lol) at KLCC when I attended another interview~ Long time never meet him and we talked for a while. I tried to update him what happen to the others. (it seems like we all loss contact after graduate from SMK SAA)
Well, since I will be based in KL, will try to find him more often~ haha~

Then I watched 2 movies in this week:

Get free complimentary tickets from Sinchew. So, 3 of us (me and my brothers) went for this adorable, cute and funny 3D Movie! Well, I would say it is really a hilarious movie~
A new character, Buck is very funny~ The most unforgettable part would be the part he was riding the flaying dinasaur. ("Roger") and also "I don't speak wind"~
If you are looking for a movie which will give u a good laugh~ You can try this!
would rate this 6.8/10

erhem, this is a very dissapointing movie~
Hope I won't get scold by Harry Potter's fans out there~ I'm just telling what I really feel after watching this movie. Basically, there is no climax and no conflict~ Totally a flat plain movie.
I believe that the climax of this episode (in book) is about the death of the Dumbledore~
However, the there's no emphasize on this part, instead there are more parts on their love story
I did not read the book (to be frank), but from a super fans, she told me that many parts have been scrapped away~ (which is quite important in this episode, especially more story about Tom Riddle and also how Dumbledore efforts in seeking the other Horwarts.)

Anyway, as a normal audience (who did not have much knowledge about harry potter's plot) like me, you will not be impressed by any awesome action scene or very impressive effects too. Very less in this episode.
(probably will fall asleep if you are tired~ LOL)

Cameron Cold Storage - Fresh Food People

最近很多新鲜健康的水果蔬菜吃！
早前在我的帖子有提到爸妈刚刚有到金马仑去游玩~所以他们买了很多新鲜土产！
我们就有口福咯！很久没有吃过金马仑的迷你番茄粒了~之前住在霹雳还算靠近，而且每年圣约翰救伤队都会上山筹款~所以还算时常可以吃到~虽然现在到处都可见迷你番茄，可是还是金马仑的最新鲜最甜！~

The Right Way to Feed a Tiger

Time to share where I went for my birthday celebration! huhu
My eldest brother sms-ed me that day asking me think what I want to eat given the different themes from Korean, Japanese, Western, Balinese to etc etc~
I can not make a decision until he came back from hiking~ So, we discussed on the spot and decided to dine in a Korean BBQ Restaurant at Bandar Puteri Puchong! huhu~
Ok, before i forgot, I must thank my brother for treating me this BIg meal~ terima kasih
So, it's just 3 of us (adik beradik) going since my parents haven back from Cameron Highlands.

still not much people when we reached. But then after a while, the restaurant became full house. Luckily we entered earlier, otherwise we wouldn't find a place~

maybe the taste here more ngam with me. Not that heavy flavor~

Happy Birthday to Me

It's my 23rd Birthday!! I celebrated it just now (few hours earlier) with my family~
My parents will be going to Cameron Highlands tomorrow and my eldest brother will be going for hiking~ So, they have to celebrate it earlier with me~
Thanks to both of my brothers who bought me the cake~ (it's a green tea flavor)
Thanks for the birthday song and everything~ Hopefully what I wish for this year will come true la~ After 4 years.....finally I have my birthday with my family~ (i will miss previous celebration with my university friends and society friends)

I'm glad everything went fine in my life. I have a happy family, a person that I really love, a bunch of best friends, an overwhelmed experience (uni and childhood)....and most importantly, a healthy body (so far)....I guess I really need to say "Thanks" to who ever UPTHERE that make these happen in my life~ I'm really glad that I was born as Tang Lee Hong...

McDonald's Family Day

Yupe, just came back from McD Equine Park with my family~
As what I had posted in previous post, I won McD Cash voucher and it's time to spend it!
So, we decided to have a McD Big meal today for our lunch~ (used up RM40 voucher plus Rm8.30 from my eldest brother. Terima Kasih atas subsidies from Golden Arches and my bro)

First time I can order the meal without looking at the price~ HUHUHU! damn happy~

Though it's free. But we practice "no wastage" all the time. So, we did not order excessively but only ngam ngam~ Just enough to make us full (very full)

I wait for postman everyday, hoping to get some good news from company.
(though I know mostly they inform through phone and email nowadays)
Today, I get 3 letters in one shoot! However, none related to my job application....sigh~
But 3 of the letters brought GOOD NEWS!!! Good enough to cheer up my day~~

National Cheerleading Competition

WOW!! Today I gained a whole new experience~
Thanks to Audrey for inviting me to support her team and at the same time to experience the 10th National Cheer Championship! (organized by RAGE-the Star)
This is really the first time I saw such event (can we call it sport?...not really sure)~
Looks like the "cheerleading" culture is spreading wider and wider in our country.
In fact, their performances were SUPERB and AWESOME! (enough to make my eyes open big big and mouth open wide wide.haha) Tiring day but very fruitful! ("fruitful" quoted from Doiwl)
Let's not talk more, check out the photos I shot!

Early morning (8.45am) I already reached Bukit Jalil! This outside view of Commonwealth Stadium. Not much cars, but a lot of buses~

Anyway, it's not held at the Big Stadium, but it's inside this stadium! Putra Indoor Stadium~

Pasar Malam Taman University SK

没错，又是一个夜市篇~我们家附近的夜市场几乎都给我走完了（真的很得空）
这次是光顾星期二的大学岭 ( Taman University ) 的夜市场~妈说想来很久了~因为听说这里的薄饼一级棒！所以，这是我们第一次到访这里的 pasar malam~
这里的夜市给我的感觉比较好走。第一：挡口不会太密布，很杂。第二：环境比较干净。第三：华人好像比较多~唯一的败笔就是这里的摊位超少~不过希望真的是贵精不贵多咯~
我们的希望就在那 popia 咯！

还有一个特色就是这里的夜市场都给“红屋”包围了~
其实很外国风的 apartment 罢了~ 并不是什么古迹~哈哈

应该是我们来得太早，还有很多没开挡~

终于找到我们的目标了！
看来真的很不错~从一段距离就闻到香味了~

也打包了这

回到家尝了这没肉没海鲜的薄饼~果然名不虚传！
可是，当然比不上马六甲 Bunga Raya 的薄饼啦~可是应该会赢 mmu corner 那摊 aunty。

Breast Cancer Awareness Bag Print Design Contest

Design Description:

Since it’s a breast cancer awareness campaign, it’s better to be straight forward in projecting the slogan. I also designed a mildly girl body shape in order to strengthen the message of breast cancer. Overall the artwork is plain and simple just enough to catch your attention. Thanks.

Cheras Batu 11 Bakuteh

Continue my post on our family outings on last Saturday.
That night, we thought of having our dinner near to Cheras as we planned to visit my aunt after the dinner. It's a Bakuteh Shop at Batu 11 Cheras. (Plus a delicious satay stall besides it)

This is highly recommended by my eldest brother. Very juicy! RM0.70 per stick.

must not miss this whenever we makan bakuteh! 油条!

we headed to my aunt's place after the dinner and stay there for around 1 hour before we leaved. (thanks my aunt for the hot tea. Great relief for my almost-bursting stomach~lol)

Taiwan Cuisines at Pudu Lama

刚过的星期六，我们三兄弟周末出游记，美食大分享~嘻嘻
其实这次出门主要的目标就是到 Low Yatt 去买二哥的500G Portable Hard Disk。
可是我们到了KL就先到 Pudu 一带去吃午餐。大哥是这里的地头蛇~他说要介绍一家卖很多台湾特色小食的店~ 旧普都街真的很杂~可是建筑物都很古色古香~那家店就在 Plaza Pudu 的附近~

价钱非常的大众化~我觉得在KL可算是贵了~
加上，这里的小食真的很赞！绝对值得~

大哥负责点，我们坐着等（吃）~嘻嘻~

这里小食的名称太古灵精怪了！所以我基本上只记得一个~哈哈
所以大家看图就好啦~该次真的有机会去到就认着样子点吧~
或者更简单的就是找我这导游！（因为我会去了，哈哈）可是得请我吃的哦！

这是最赞的~里面有蛋有肉，好料哦！
（以上两种都属于湾仔糕类~可是有独家秘方材料）

这就是我记得的一道~是这里的招牌之一
“生炒糯米饭”
超香！！

现在看了仍然垂涎~

对了，这里除了小食，还有很多的糖水~
我就点了一个大家都觉得很像“泥浆”的黑芝麻糊~
不过，是真才实料的哦！黑芝麻很香~

之后就到 Low Yatt 完成我们的任务~
在还没离开之前，我们也在 Low Yatt 解决了我们的 high tea~哈哈
我们光顾的是大哥最喜欢的烧腊鸭店，“港饮港食”~
想不到，没来一段时间竟然装修过了~不过，我们也只是喝柠檬茶冰罢了

My Car Sprained His Leg

Went to check my car tyre few days back. I had been noticing that one of my tyre showed irregular pressure every time I pump air into it for a long time.
So, I suspect that there might be a leak on the tyre. Anyway, I only got the chance to check it when I came back to SK. Not much time to do it in Melaka. (just tried to make sure I pump it regularly in Melaka)
Yupe, so we (me and my dad) went to the tyre shop. The mechanic checked the tyre and found out that there was a nail penatrated my tyre. However, since it's a tubeless tyre (all new car use tubeless now. not like last time), the air didn't leak that fast. But it might be dangerous if the hole becomes bigger as the tyre might burst while driving.
(so a reminder to all, check it! Don't take it for granted)

Later I tried to search over the internet and found out that actually it's quite easy too.
Even the accessories needed to fix puncture tyre are available in the market.
But the work in repairing definitely need a lot of energy and skills.

(there was another short one, but that one did not manage to penantrate the tyre rubber)

After everything settled. We had our breakfast at one of the mamak restaurant nearby.
Teh Ais and a Roti Canai~ what a wonderful meal in the morning~

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Yeah! Yesterday was the big day for transformers fan (though there are already few shows in some cinemas on Wednesday) But still the official date is 24th! And it's super crowded!
Have been waiting for this movie to be on screen for such a long long time~
Finally, the day came and Transformers 2 does not disappoint me at all!

The computer graphic effects are totally awesome! (by only watching the trailer I get drool. And guess what, the movie is 10 times the excitement!!)
Well, from some of the entertainment article by Hollywood, I get to know that the computer graphic skill not only being used to create amazing robots and explode effects....but also to create a perfect go goddess (Megan Fox). There's an insider news saying the perfect figure of hers was actually touched and edited with computer graphic technology. (no wonder she is super hot in the movie) So, in term of visual and audio effects, don't worry~ 5 stars!!!

Despite many Decepticon and Autobot leaked photos on the internet earlier~ but there are still a lot of surprise! For me, the critics by some movie review website saying that the movie is too noisy and loud are not true~ Just nice la~ Eithers you are a fan of babes, cars, robots, or battle, you will get what you want in this movie!! The only part I feel a little too short is the fighting between Prime and the Fallen in the last part. (A little bit too short la. But perhaps it's to show that Optimus Prime becomes very powerful in the end. why? haha....go watch yourself)
overall rating: 9.0/10

I guess not only me anticipating this movie, but many others!
what's the evidences for saying so? read further!

This is the first time I came across this statement from GSC Website.
I didn't know it (as I had reserved my tickets few days earlier) until YB Jock told me

(in the end, the staff can not tahan dy. They use the microphone to tell the audience that the tickets for transformers already sold out! Even the reservations one is all claimed. Don't have to Q dy) damn, should have announce it earlier. I get tics liao only announce....md

那天爸妈到东禅峙，我们俩（二哥与我）就得自己解决两餐~
前一晚我已经想到午餐了~所以午餐大致上没有什么大问题~
午餐吃什么？嘻嘻，就是很久没有光顾的McValue Lunch!!
最靠近我们的麦当劳就是在 Equine Park 的McDonald's~ 不出于所料，果然很多人~
听说 MengFai 也是到那里用餐，可惜timing不对~哈哈，没有遇到~不过没关系，有机会的~

Fathers' Day Dinner

父亲节咯！刚刚我们一家到很久没光顾的鸿星去吃晚餐~
可惜大哥没法参与，因为他人在沙劳越。明天又会飞到沙巴。（公司公干）
所以就剩下我们4人一起庆祝父亲节~没有预约，刚去到看见这么多人还以为得换地点~
幸好外面还有一张桌子，所以我们就打算既来之则安之。没冷气也没关系啦~

Pasar Malam Sri Serdang

Yesterday, I drove my parents to Sri Serdang Pasar Malam to buy some fruits.
That was our first time visiting pasar malam of that area. Usually, we only go pasar pagi at serdang town or Kampung Baru Puchong Saturday Pasar Malam.
This pasar malam was introduced the them by the auties and uncles living in our neighborhood.
Not difficult to find the place, as when we were near to it, we can see many foreigner workers carrying big and small plastic bags. Then we knew we were at the right place~
Not a long pasar malam, but a big square form. The stalls were quite a lot and make the place very crowded and packed~

saw this, and mom decided to buy few for try~

dad had a try on this cendol~ RM 1.00 only~ not bad

many things to buy!! too bad we already bought our dinner~

A Day Trip to Hotel Istana

Yesterday, I accompanied my dad went to another shareholders Annual General Meeting.
The meeting was held at the Hotel Istana, Raja Chulan. Actually it is just opposite the Crown Hotel (where Maybank held their EGM last time) So, as usual we prefer to travel with public transport. Early in the morning, 6.30am, I already woke up and took my breakfast. (ready to depart for the meeting which was scheduled at 10.30am)

Place where we departed from. Serdang KTM station. (nearest to our house)
This time we managed to reach the venue early. around 10am plus, we had reached the destination.

Oh~! we were actually very near to KL Tower from there.

good news: we can redempt free gift after registration!~
A sport bag, sport water bottle, 2 pack of sugars, and a set of hygiene meal tools.

after claiming the free gift, my dad decided not to attend the meeting as we needed to go get some information from Tourism Malaysia at Kl Sentral. So, we just walked around, took our brunch and leaved Chulan.

Hannah Montana - The Movie

昨天晚上无所事事，所以就约了二哥一同去看电影~
反正之前在 Media Prima 赢取的电影固本一直放着没用~
（也许因为是 Hannah Montana 的免费戏票吧~大家期望不大）
可是，若不看就更加的浪费~所以就抱着消磨时间的心态去看这部电影~

看了这部戏，其实很惊讶它并没我们想象的烂！反而个人觉得有点好看！
哈哈~不是剧情的紧张（Disney 的故事剧情结尾其实来来去去都不会有惊喜。expected）或技术效果，反而是里头的搞笑情节、温情、及音乐让我对这部戏刮目相看~

首先，情节真的不会很幼稚；非常大众化。
接下来就是每次 Disney 故事的强项 - moral values
整部戏涵盖了友情，亲情，爱情~ 当中最感动的并不是爱情，而是父亲的爱（蛮适合父亲节看）
故事也告诉我们真正的幸福是什么~
里头男主角告诉 Miley 的一句话：Life is a Climb, But the View is Great
随着整个故事的发展，到了最后 Hannah 现场献唱 “The Climb” 特别有感觉~
（之前听过这首歌，可是看了电影就觉得这首歌更棒了！）

戏里还有很多很棒的音乐~我回到家就马上下载了整张OST专辑~嘻嘻

Digitalized Nostalgia ( part 1 )

爸爸从以前开始就很喜欢带我们一家到处去游玩~
很多地方其实在很小很小的时候我已经去过，可是都没有印象了~
（就好像熬云山庄，其实也是小时候去过了；但迎新就好像我的第一次）
其实那时的我们真的很幸福，可惜我们太小了，不懂得珍惜~很多回忆都忘记了
还好，爸爸除了喜欢带我们旅行，他也喜欢为我们拍照~
还好爸爸有这样的喜好~我们现在还可以看见很多以前去过的景点。
而且，爸爸将照片保存得很好，而且都按照日期整理~
（该次我也同样要为我的孩子拍很多很多的照片~将来可以回味回味）

那天从马六甲回到吉隆坡突然心血来潮就搬出收藏旧照片的箱子；
翻看以前的我们。感觉时间过得真的很快~爸爸妈妈以前非常的年轻~
从照片也看得出我们以前的顽皮及任性，可是爸妈还是将我们个个养得这么大了~
现在是时候我们让他们过幸福舒适的生活了~
看着看着，突然想将一些比较有纪念价值的照片“软化”。于是，就拿出了相机不断的拍。
拥有一份 softcopy 总觉得比较保障~而且方便携带，可以随时随地的翻看~

We were shopping at IOI mall at Puchong. At first we planned to try the San Francisco Coffee located at the new expanded wing of the IOI mall~ But later decided to have our tea break at Alamanda Putrajaya~ So, we ended up at Starbucks~

Sungai Petani Stay

刚刚从双溪大年返回吉隆坡~在那里过了开心的4天3夜
这次随sayang回去除了吃好睡好~娱乐也不错~不是去看电影，不是去逛街~
是帮忙顾baby!!哈哈~没错，就是我之前曾经提过的“阿雯”！她已经长大了！
虽然大家都说她已经不像“肥猫”，可是我仍然觉得她是那么的可爱~（在我心目中她是永远的“肥猫”）她高了许多~而且会走路了！刚看见我，她仍然很陌生~
之前我也只是个过客~所以不能怪她~而sayang就算和她分隔了几个月，阿雯还是认得~
与小孩共乐的日子真的觉得自己年轻了不少~

这次回去阿雯的经典口头禅就是"kok kok keh!"（福建：格格鸡）
没人教，她竟然自己无缘无故的不断念~大家也因为这样光顾了4D店~但大家都吃白果~
所以大家又气又趣~每当她无法表达自己要的东西时，就会kok kok keh!
当然也不会忘得就是“拍拍手”~这小瓜学东西（模仿）真的很厉害~
听说aunty顾到年底就不会再顾了~这会是我最后一次见到你吗，阿雯？

离开SP除了会挂念sayang还会想念河边的红豆冰！（福建：ang tao gah!）
保证好吃！（8tv ho chiak 也是曾经来报导过）特别的与milo粉搭配，绝！

Redang Trip ( Last Day )

Missing in action for 5 days. Just back from Sungai Petani, Kedah.
Anyway, I'm back for the last post of the Redang Trip! (photos of SP trip will be after this)
On the last day, not much photos we took actually. Anyway, there's a beautiful one to share---

Redang Trip ( Day 2 - part 2 )

We finished the Marine Park trip and we headed back to the Pelangi Resort.
That return was a cool one as we have the chance to jump from the boat~
(also wanted to do this for a long time)

Redang Trip ( Day 1 )

Finally I'm back from Redang!~ A lot of dust in my blog, and time to clean it up with some fresh photos from Pulau Redang, Malaysia! (not much talking, just photos and captions to share my excitements~)

On the way to Terengganu jetty. Stop by to have Tomyam~

This is the place where you can find the "blue sand"~
*sparkling blue sand - a luminous life form (probably plankton) that is swept in by the tide and glows in the moonlight. Some known it as "blue tears"

we did went snorkelling for the first day, but no photos taken since I haven rent the underwater camera. Anyway, it's enjoyable~ and more photos to share on the 2nd and 3rd days!

3 days back, we finally can have a dinner together after my brother finished his company presentation. We went to a restaurant that cooks all Ah Ma's style dishes.
Still remember what your Grandma cooked for you when you were small?
Yea~ this restaurant helps me to flash back what my Ah Ma cooked last time.
A lot of traditional and old recipe in this restaurant's menu. It's 太平人 at Puchong, KL
This is my first time to dine in this restaurant. (my family have been here for several times)

Not only the dishes are Ah Ma's style, but the furniture and fittings too!
Not to mention the decorations and atmosphere inside the restaurant.
With all those old plates, bowls, and kitchen tools hanging around in the restaurant, it reminds me of my Ah Ma's house. 古色古香！(but don't worry, it's air conditioned. hehe)

昨天下午吃好料！回到SK就是有很多好料吃！首先是妈妈的粽子！
可是，昨天（5月30日）并不是什么普通的日子。我们到Dengkil的Sinki去吃午餐！
这次应该是我首次下午在这里用餐；也因为这样发现隔壁原来有家不错的海南包。我们打包10粒
现在看了这些菜肴仍然很回味~！

We headed straight to Seremban! crazy huh! hahaha....this is the first time we go celebrate out of Melaka~ Thanks to ah teck for recommending such a nice place! Super Food after super final!

After Super Final ( part 1 )

Feeling extreme overwhelmed now! why? Because we finally finish our degree course in MMU!
Such a long path but yet feel like it's just in a wink~
From the day I stepped into MMU for orientation until the day we finish our last paper,
bitter, sweet, sour and mixed feelings memories in MMU will be treasured forever.
First, thanks to my parents for supporting me to study in university both financially and mentally. I love you~ Thanks to all my friends, (classmates as well as society-mates), for making my university life such a wonderful and colorful one! I'm really touched at this moment, thinking back how you all supported me, cheer me, strive together with me......
I guess, the day of separation will still come no matter how~ (very very sad)
What I really hope now is all of us can find a good career and good life......
one day, we shall meet again~! Definitely! To share more about our life experiences!

Well, this post is about our celebration (this time for real!) after our last paper (finally!) in MMU!
The most relief we ever feel in the entire university life! But the celebration was rather plain but filled with touched emotion and sad atmosphere. Not as crazy as our previous celebration, but yet it's far more valuable than any others! (as this might be the last time we sit together and talk, share, bla bla bla~) *sob sob*

Our first mission was to find a place for tea time buffet.
After we went 3 hotels, Holidays Inn, Everly Resorts, and Equotorial Hotel....
It was a total failure as all of them did not have on that day~ so sad~
But never mind, as long as we can dine together then it's fine for us. Without wasting more time, we decided to dine in Sushiya, Dataran Pahlawan, Melaka!

Mixed Feelings before Last Paper

Yesterday, we went to Ujong Pasir to have our dinner.
I guess that would be the last time we have our dinner there. Will surely miss the dishes there.
Suddenly, I realized that many things that I did recently might be the last time in Melaka.
Including watching movie, eating JiaJia's duck rice, shopping at Jusco, etc etc.
Oh~ It's hard to believe that only 3 days left and we going to leave this lovely university life.

Night at the Museum 2

今天完成了我们的第三张考卷！也是大学生涯的最后第二张paper~
从20日开始，我们就开始了这连续3天的战争~而且其中两科都是在早上考~
读得很累~虽然说是很接近，可是也因为这样~我们完成3张了！
最后一科是在下个星期二，所以大家决定今天考完就来松松口气。
再次声明，我们不是庆祝，我们只是想为这连3天的精神紧张来个疏解。
于是，我们就吃了午餐，一起到MBO买票看 Night at the Museum 2！
这是一部喜剧，希望真的可以为我们减压~（加上第一集的评语不错，我自己看了也喜欢）

看了这第二部Night Museum有什么评语？
很多人说比第一集好看，可是我个人觉得其实不相上下~唯一不同的就是很多新鲜的角色（/怪物）
虽然搞笑的scene增加了，可是论到印象深刻还是不够第一集好~所以别抱着太大的期望~
这部印象最深刻的就是里头的3只小天使雕像了！超可爱~ （多可爱？自己去看咯）
其实是一部中规中矩的戏剧片咯！
对，差点忘了中间部分还有很无理头的出现了star wars与sesame street角色~超搞笑！

Like I said the third time might come~ And today is the day!
After finished my second paper (Management Decision Science), we (me, Poh Hong and sayang) headed straight to Jusco McD! Then we saw many friends there, especially Ms's classmates.
Accounting group also not bad, we saw Jessy's Gang (Jia Rui, Jessy, Venessa, Pei Hwa, Edith)
People busy dinning in, people busy take away~ very efficient~

Finally I ordered this set, because during lunch it's so worth it!

Something to share is that, I always eat from the side. In the end, I will have this last, and most satisfying bite~ How many of you eat like this? I guess everyone has their own styles~

I had been blogging about McD for so many times, and yet i'm still doing it~
I hope you (readers) do not get annoyed~ but instead, try it yourselves!
Can I be the Malaysia first spokeperson or embassador for McDonald? Em... Don't know...
But i searched around in Google, found out that many country got their celebrities ambassador neh! How come Malaysia tak ade? (or there is one that I don't know? any idea anyone?)

It's about our kiddies time! Remember what you had watched when you are 6 or 7 years old?
Hard for us to wake up early nowadays. But that time, I remember I purposely woke up early and sit infront of the TV just to watch my favorite cartoon and shows. miss kiddies days!
Recently, she keep watching her favorite, flash man and jet man through youtube~
Quite annoying to hear the soundtrack (theme song) of the show~

This is my first video (Youtube) post! Before this I'm very against in embedding a youtube clip in blog post. I have such feeling that, who will bother to click and view it? It might take very long time to load, might also be very lag. My mind changed recently when I spend a lot of my time browsing through people's blog. What I have is time! While waiting for those clips to load, I read my books. After all, It's not that hard to load! And sometimes it's fun to see their homemade video clips! Plus, the message is far more powerful!

So, I had made my mind to start posting video!

Where we took our dinner yesterday? Yes ..... McD (again)
I think we basically get addicted to this restaurant due to:
most importantly friends' influence! (pengaruh rakan sebaya dan bukan sebaya)
For this, I want to specially thank Mr.Doi (yes, the awards holder) and Ms. Jia Pui
They are the super duper fans of McDonalds. I guess people around them get influenced alot.
Slowly, more n more people join the "club". You can see from our "VIP stickers".

Not McValue Lunch, but we also dine in. It's still irresistible.
on the same night, I think ah bee and his gang also at McD.
(it's like a place of gathering, previous time we met linsong gang.kns)

I know I will get hungry later at the midnight.
So , i bought something from Jusco just in case.
Then, we went home and continued study. it's almost 2am in the morning,
and i started to get sleepy. the words on the page start flying around.....
Time to eat what I had bought in Jusco!

Is this what we called 咬紧牙根 (bite your teeth's root - direct translation)? very suffering.....

Kuching Trip Last Day ( part 1 )

I have been blogging on my Kuching Trip since January until now.

In between I had stopped writing for 2 months (March and April), and now I decided to complete the last day in order to close this memorable chronicle. Also to complete my first travel log. For those who want to tour around in Kuching next time, hope my blog would be at little help. For more information, leave me comment and I'll try my best to answer if I know.

The last day of our trip. We took this group photo before we leaved.
That day, we took more photos as that was the last day we will be in the lodge.
And it's special as all of use wore of trip tee-shirt (bought from the mini china town)
We also gave one to Abang as a gift for being such a nice tour guide (very local and professional)

time to say buh-bye and rush for our last day trip~

People says that all the best always left behind (好料垫底）
I totally agree because we went for the best Mee Laksa in Kuching on the last day!
Previously, Abang brought us to the most famous among the Malays.
This one is the famous among Chinese. So, we are lucky to have the chance to taste both!

We were at the Poh Lam Laksa !
(no bluff one, even the 8TV ho jiak (好吃) also interviewed it)

That morning, we had combo lunch! Right after the Laksa, we went straight to the Mini China Town to have the famous Kolok Mee. I guess the uncle's son was from MMU also? Because he keep asking whether we are from MMU. weird. We already tried to be "as local as possible" by wering the "kuching tee" in group. *scratch head*

also yummy yummy! thumbs up! But then I not really like the 猪杂。

The flow of last day was very packed. We felt like there are still a lot of places we haven visit.
Then we went to the Monument of Heroes.
A "tiang" carved with those heroes' faces. (those who fought with the Mat Salleh last time)
Though we studied that before duing secondary, but many also forgot dy.

Who is this? He is a Chinese. We are proud of him. Who again? Go google yourselves.

It was a wonderful garden surrounding the Heroes Monument.

After that, we sat on the car for quite a long time.

Our next destination was the Wind Cave! Despite the horrible flood striked Kuching,
we decided to try our luck. It took us around 1 and half hour (plus minus those sesat time)

Like i said, we were just trying our luck. Too bad the cave was closed.
The guard did not allow us to enter the cave. So, as a result, we can only take some photos outside. Anyway, we did not regret, because even from outside, the scenery was awesome!
We took many many photos and these are some of it.

I brought torch light for what leh? Can not enter la, sien~~~~~
But I'm happy because I managed to snap many weirdos.......
some insects that I never see before! Amazing~

Nostalgia ( part 6 )

这是几张我们在2007年拍的照片~用的不是我的相机；也忘了谁的。无论如何，感谢他。
这是我们在马六甲一家cafe拍的照片。那餐馆，Bonami，现在已经关闭了~
所以这些照片也随着增值。那时，我们大家都穿得很“老土”。没记错的话，使出席meilin生日。
突然，他们就提议拍一系列的复古照片。我们为了模仿以前人拍照还特地改了发型。
不过至少这些照片等我们成为“阿祖”（福建）时就很适合挂在家里了~哈哈
看这些照片似乎感觉我们的祖宗早前已经认识彼此。难怪我们成为兄弟~

那么刚好我们的服装真的很“土”。应该是80年代的hush puppies, padini, 及 polo

这张比较多瑕疵，80年代的Baleno?后面还有人玩laptop，还是其实是打字机？

这张很有“阿祖”的感觉。就只差一支拐杖。

非常回味的复古照。分享如何拍出有味道的复古照秘诀：

- 拍摄时必须先将相机转入sephia mode。这样可以马上看到效果（之后电脑加工也许效果不好）
- 若看看您以前阿公阿妈的照片，您会发现几个表情特征：严肃，眼睛睁大
- 当然想配合得更好的就是服装一定要是80年代的。（比如：线条，格子，单色）
- 造型一定要同时配合。尤其是男的发型一定要梳到“亮亮”！
- 就算是坐姿还是站姿都需非常的端正！
- 摄影师必须确保没有“瑕疵”被拍入照片里。（包括了科技电子仪器）
- 选择一个有味道的地点拍摄。（马六甲太多了！如：庙，或我们最后一张的取景地：郑和馆）

相信您也可以拥有自己难忘的复古照！

Yesterday I started my "Environmental-Friendly Take-Away"
As the grand opening, I "dabao" vegetarian food as my lunch!
I guess it was a good start for "Eat less meat" campaign. If I manage to eat more than 2 vegetarian meals in a week, then i might be able to update my Green Checklist. HEHE
so those who haven buy one, what are you waiting for? Spread the Green!

Same day, (yesterday)
We also officiated another grand opening for a newly bought drink last week.
We met with a promoter saying that this is a new drink in market~ So, we tried~
(as usual, we can't resist the curiosity towards new stuff) despite being the white lab rat;
we still need to pay RM3.00 for this small little bottle of drink (ONLY 200ml)
What is it? Brand New - Ramune (Glass Ball Soda Drink!)

Ramune - was introduced in 1876 at Kabe, Japan. The word is derived phonetically from English, Lemonade. It is widely known for the distinctive design of its bottle made of glass and sealed with a marble. The marble is pushed inside the neck of the bottle where it rattles around while drinking. People trying Ramune for the first time somwtimes find it challenging to drink, as it takes practice on how to stop the marble from blocking the flow.
弹珠汽水在1876年起源于神户，日本。
其特殊的包装方式是用一颗玻璃珠封口，瓶颈两侧凹入，要喝时将弹珠压入，使之掉落在瓶颈处即可饮用。许多人喝弹珠汽水相当受挫，因为仰头要喝时，弹珠会卡住瓶口，这需要一些技巧。

It's a product by Glinter. I guess u might heard about their mineral water (with nice bottle design) A little bit like kanak kanak drink thought the glass bottle color is like Heneiken or Carlberg. Probably is because of the design. But most japanese style drink also give such feelings.

However, with poor instruction.
It only stated there "Break, Shake, Push, Enjoy"
It ended up "Break, Shake, Shit, Push, Shit, Enjoy"
Really lousy. (Malaysia still need to improve on their instruction signboard, leftlet or whatever)
Why "shit"? When you Shake, the thing start become "tense" (highly carbonated)
When you "push", another super "shit", you will witness a LIVE whale in fron of you.
The drink spilled all over on my table. (Originally, it wasn't suppose to be on my table. I sendir gatal wanna take photo. 干！) Then should be how?
I found a more useful instruction online (just in case any of you want to try this drink. Screw the Glinter's instructions and follow this)
(!important part!: Push down hard and keep a tight grip)

most important part, is it nice to drink?
I feel that the taste wasn't bad at all, a new fresh taste~ (not like 7-up, not like sprite, not like Heneiken either. explore yourself) But, one thing for sure, the carbonate gas is damn superb!
Just a little bottle of 200ml can give you a few "burps" after drink~
Believe it or not, try it yourself.
Learn a new culture through food! Happi!~ nice try~
Ohya, and i read the label, there is NO FAT in this drink. (good for diet-ing ladies)

很多时候这些随机拍摄的物体都没有自己的主题，纯粹是我欣赏的艺术~
虽然不值得成为写作的题材，可是我依然觉得值得分享~所以就推出了我的random snap系列！

Angels & Demons PLUS Foo's Bday

A movie that we anticipated for so long. Finally we watched it just now!
Overall, this is a great movie. However, if was to compare with the real story in book, it's a little difference. Just like the feeling of watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (movie). A lot of details (or parts which can be filmed better) were neglected.
But as a person who never read about the story, this is a great (easy understand) movie.

Few comments:
- many characteristics of the roles were changed (eg: the killer)
- storyline altered. (eg: the fourth preferentee was not supposed to survive and the last symbol appearance)
- too brief in explaining the clues during investigation (audience can only follow the excitement without understanding "how")
- they were not allowed to shot in some of the holy places. Hence, many stated places in the book are not depicted in the movie actually.

Anyway, to be integrity and independence by judging it as a movie:
I would give 8/10 rating.

I'm lucky that I just manage to read half way of the story. (bought the book few years back)
That's why I don't know that they actually changed the entire ending. (sayang told later)
But at least I'm clear about the conflict the writer trying to raise up in this story.
It's all about the dilemma between science and religion.
In fact the front part of the book talks a lot about the experiment on "anti-matter" which many people might be blur about. I'm glad i studied it earlier.

Few quotes deep carved in my mind from the movie: (might not be completely original)
"Religion is not perfect because humans are not perfect, not because it is"
"Science is still too young to judge God's creations"
"Believing is a gift (from God) which I haven receive"

I will never forget this subject! Organizing Behavior (BOB)
This course subject really taught us a lot especially teamwork.
Bravo to all my teammates that time, Hamza, Yong Cheng, Kiru, Viranjit, Yola, James (our flag savior), kwee fong and mun foo~

what we get from the camp?
A valuable certificate issued by the National Military University stating we had participated an army orientated team building program! cool isn't it? Want it? take this subject ba!

I also will not forget this. We took this before we departed from Melaka to JB
Just to attend Jia Qi's (our classmate) birthday party at Johor Bahru
I also remember that Bryant's car "merajuk" that day~ "steamed & smoky"

So energetic that we go all the way just to attend a party....

as this is a session for all last year friends from CLS. We are from different faculties!
We are lucky to have Ah Bee and Ah Long there to photoshot the entire session~
This time, we choose evening time for phototaking. We managed to capture something different~

很想做这件有意义的事情很久了~
很久以前就想减少打包，不用保丽龙~
终于前几天在Jusco踏出了我的第一步！我买了“半岛盒” （不是像菜菜的铁盒）
我的是不知用什么fibre原料造成的盒。不过那里注明：
- 100% safe guarantee - Durability - Odor Proof - Stain Resistant - Intense Heat Resistant
我才敢买的！才RM10.00!嘻嘻~ （没钱买不锈钢就从这里开始吧~）

说到环保意识，我们已经改用布料袋购物很久了！
只是有时垃圾袋用完了还是得用Jusco的“可腐化”袋~依然环保，可是不够完美罢了~
感谢之前的Career Fair及IVAQ活动送出布料袋。其他的活动应该防范~
